Hello!

I’m Naomi. Thanks for stopping by.

In 2020, before we really knew anything about the COVID-19 coronavirus, I started a ‘photo a day’ project on my instagram account in an effort to improve my street photography skills. That hasn’t come to pass, but I’ve stuck with the project through Melbourne’s long lockdown.

You can read more about that project, and why I decided to start this website here.

I like getting up with the sun, light glowing through leaves, flowers growing through fences, sunsets, and my cat. I’ve taken too many photos of the chimney stacks I can see from my front porch, the bread I’ve baked throughout the lockdown, and my cat.

I used to be a journalist who sometimes dabbled in sports and parliamentary photography. I still write words for a living, but now I make photographs for me and to share with you.

Say hello.

If you have any questions or comments please feel free to send me a message.
