Melbourne goes back into lockdown and I’m back in the garden, documenting little signs of life. Sarah and I start wearing masks about a week before they’re mandated, and I keep baking. The house continues to give up a little gifts of light and for the first time, our flowering gum actually flowers. It becomes my new favourite subject.
