September 2020

I take a week of leave as the lockdown exhaustion sets in, and find I can’t stop napping. Everyone is flat, but restrictions ease slightly, and I’m less worried about taking my camera on daily walks. After many attempts, I make the best sunset image yet of the chimney stacks I can see from our front porch. The days are getting longer and the light in the house is still magical. On impulse, I make a picture of Anne’s sitting chair, and realise I have made progress despite the ever present challenges of 2020.
